							<description><![CDATA[The problem is we start assessing the civilian government from day one.  After a military regime such as the one that Pakistan has seen, it would take a long time for a civilian government to sink in its boots and get a firm foothold.  <br/>
If we are questioning the civilian government, we are playing into the hands of those who wants the military regime back in Pakistan.  <br/>
Even the US is more comfortable dealing with one military dictator than dealing with a whole bunch of leaders amongst whom nobody knows as to who is running the country.<br/>
Nevertheless, I would be least surprised if Musharraf makes a comeback.<br/>
Musharraf suits Kayani.  He suits the militants.  He suits the US.  What more do you want?<br/>
In fact, I had predicted this way back in August 2008 when Musharraf resigned as the president of Pakistan. <br/>
